Let's put a wrap on wrapping paper!

About the Green Wrap Initiative

With the growing amount of waste on our planet, why contribute more to the landfills by throwing out all of your holiday gift wrapping paper into the garbage each year?

The Green Wrap Initiative (GWI) is aimed at reducing the amount of materials used to wrap gifts during the holiday season, increasing the amount of wrapping paper being recycled and raising public awareness.

We will provide gift wrapping stations in local malls that use eco-friendly wrapping materials. Following the holiday season, used wrapping paper will be collected via curbside collection to be recycled or shredded and reused.

Explore our website to learn more about our Holiday Paper Recycling Program. Also find a variety of ways to reuse your holiday wrapping paper!

Proceeds and Donations

All proceeds collected from our gift wrapping service will be distributed back into our Green Wrap Initiative (advertising costs, materials and supplies, etc.), with 50% being donated to a local “green” organization. For instance, in Toronto, 50% of proceeds will be donated to Evergreen Brick Works, which is a program that aims to bring nature back into the city.
